GAUMONT CEO SIDONIE DUMAS TO RECEIVE 2024 INTERNATIONAL EMMY® DIRECTORATE AWARD
Head of Storied French Television & Film Studio Behind Global Hits Narcos and Lupin to be Honored at 52nd International Emmy® Awards Gala
New York, September 17, 2024 – Sidonie Dumas, CEO of Gaumont, the Paris based television & film production group behind global hits Narcos & Lupin and the world’s oldest continuously operating film studio, will receive the 2024 International Emmy® Directorate Award. Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences today announced that the International Academy’s Special Emmy® will be presented to Dumas at the 52nd International Emmy® Awards Gala, on Monday, November 25, 2024, in New York City.
“Since taking the helm of this storied company in 2010, Sidonie Dumas has strategically and successfully pivoted Gaumont’s main business from theatrical to television with major international expansion and key deals from Europe and Latin America to Hollywood,” said Paisner. “We look forward to honoring her remarkable vision and career with our Directorate Award.”
