New York, October 8, 2014 – Nominations for the International Emmy® Kids Awards were announced today by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. There are 23 nominees in 6 categories. The full list of Nominees follows this release. Winners will receive their Emmys at the third International Emmy® Kids Awards, on February 20, 2015 in New York City.
Nominations span 17 countries: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, France, Germany, Japan, Spain, Sweden, South Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
“The geographic spread and the wealth of topics addressed in this year’s nominated programs attests to the vibrancy and quality of children’s television throughout the world.” said Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. “The International Academy is proud to be the global platform for such a unique selection of international programming and we are looking forward to the third edition of these awards, in New York, on February 20, 2015.”
The International Emmy® Kids Awards presenting partners are: Ernst & Young, Hasbro Studios, MIPTV/MIPJr, Shaw Rocket Fund, SVT/DRTV, TV Kids and WDR. The ceremony will take place at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers.
